Privacy Policy
Last updated: June 5, 2026
This policy explains what Mockr collects when you practice interviews, why, who we share it with, and the choices you have. By using Mockr you agree to this policy.
Who we are
Mockr is an AI interview-practice service. For any privacy question or request, contact us at trymockr@vessien.com.
What we collect
- Account information. If you create an account, your email address and the name you provide. If you sign in with Google, we receive your name, email, and profile picture from Google.
- Practice content. The role, level, and job description you enter; any resume you upload (we extract and use its text); your spoken answers (audio) and any typed answers; and the interview transcript and feedback report that result.
- Payment information. When you buy a plan or pack, payment is processed by Paystack. We do not see or store your card details. We keep a record of the transaction (reference, amount, plan) to manage your access.
- Usage and device data. Basic analytics (pages visited, interactions, approximate device and browser) via Google Analytics, including cookies and similar technologies.
How we use it
- To run the interview: generate questions, transcribe your speech, voice the interviewer, and score your answers and delivery.
- To save your reports and history when you are signed in.
- To process payments and manage your subscription or pack access.
- To understand usage, fix problems, and improve the product.
- To communicate with you about your account or important changes.
Who we share it with
We do not sell your data. We share it only with the providers that make the service work, each acting on our behalf:
- Anthropic— generates the interviewer's questions and your feedback report (policy).
- OpenAI — transcribes your spoken answers and synthesizes the interviewer voice (policy).
- Supabase — authentication and storage of your account and saved reports (policy).
- Paystack — payment processing (policy).
- Google — optional sign-in and analytics (policy).
Some of these providers are based outside your country, so your data may be processed internationally. We may also disclose information if required by law.
Audio and how long we keep things
- Guest sessions are ephemeral. If you practice without an account, the session lives only in your browser and is gone when you leave; we do not save it.
- Audio is sent to our transcription provider to turn your speech into text and to measure delivery. We do not store your audio recordings on our servers after the answer is processed.
- Saved reports. If you are signed in, your transcripts and reports are stored until you delete them or close your account.
Your choices and rights
- Access and correction. View and edit your profile in your account settings.
- Deletion. You can request deletion of your account and saved data at any time by emailing trymockr@vessien.com.
- Practice as a guest. You can use Mockr without an account, in which case nothing is saved.
- Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under laws such as the Nigeria Data Protection Act or the GDPR.
Cookies and analytics
We use Google Analytics to understand how the product is used. This sets cookies on your device. You can block cookies in your browser settings; the core practice experience will still work.
Children
Mockr is not intended for children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect their data.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as the product evolves. We will revise the date above when we do; significant changes will be communicated where appropriate.
